		Translation is an intellectual process and not an exact science. It requires more than the perfect grasp of a language: it also demands total understanding of the subject in hand, all its ins and outs, something a machine will never be able to do.

The translator must match the register of language needed by the customer to the target audience and the type of document: from internal memo to a publication destined for wide publication; from press review to technical documentation.

This is why rigorously evaluating and selecting our translators is essential to guarantee you the highest quality. We have 2,500 translators/editors in our network of freelancers. The recruitment process focuses on their two areas of expertise:

the language they translate into, which is always their mother tongue. We can then be certain that translations are adapted and faithful to the cultural, economic and social environment of the country or region of the target language.

their specialized subjects: legal, financial, marketing/communication, technical, literary and more - and in every business sector: automotive, chemical industry, aeronautical, defence, food and drink, luxury, tourism, public sector, pharmaceutical/medical, medical instrumentation, high-tech, industries, etc. Certain external translators also hold qualifications in their field in addition to their translation diploma.

They will have worked for several years in these areas of activity, for example as doctors, chemists, engineers, lawyers, sollicitors, financial analysts, copywriters, journalists or other professional roles.
